1. Generate images in search of NEW ideas for future 3D paintings from texture paste.
What can trigger a new idea for a painting? Looking at beautiful photos on the Internet, going to a museum, reading a book. Now, a simple game with a neural network to generate images can start a chain of thoughts in the imagination from which a new idea is born. And then it's a question of technique.
2. Generating images to PROVE the idea.
Sometimes an idea in your mind appears as a blurred image, with only its silhouette visible. Ask the neural network to draw a picture of your idea. This will help you formulate it more clearly. And the images generated will serve as a sketch for your work. You can test how good your idea is for the picture. You may decide to change the colours, the arrangement or the number of elements.
Artificial intelligence will be able to create three-dimensional paintings when it is connected to a 3D printer and a competent promt-engineer with artistic taste, who additionally knows how to work with complex machinery, is put at the console. But how long will it be before that happens? Maybe a year, maybe 10-20 years. After all, for the first time the idea of artificial neural network was voiced more than 60 years ago, but they were able to realise it only now.
There is still no copyright law on products created by neural networks (by the end of 2024). Who is the author of a product created by a neural network? The person who wrote the prompt, the developer of the neural network that produced the result on demand, or the authors whose materials the neural network used to train to produce that result? There is no clear answer at this stage. Keep this in mind!
