The purpose of any interior is to fill the interior space of the house and create comfortable living conditions. Paintings, as part of the interior decoration, perfectly help to accomplish this task. To create a single harmonious space in the interior, the choice of paintings and their design must be approached responsibly.

Tips from designers on how to choose a paintings in the interior:
1. Analyze the area of the room
Small rooms will visually become even smaller if you hang a large picture on the wall. For small rooms, it is better to use several medium-sized paintings. In large areas, small or medium-sized paintings are lost or look dull. Large areas — large paintings!
2. Analyze the place wh ere the painting will hang
When choosing the size of the picture, you need to lower your gaze to the level below and estimate the dimensions of the object over which it will be placed. The width of the picture must be equal to or greater than half the length of this object (bed, table, console). A composition of several small paintings can serve as an excellent solution.

3. Analyze the color and style of the interior.
To create a single interior, the main color and genre of the painting should be combined with the coloring of furniture or walls. The frame is a connecting link between the picture and the style of the room. IMPORTANT! The baguette is selected for the picture, not the interior.

Exceptions:
✅The picture does not have to be hung on the wall, you can put it on an easel, on a chest of drawers, a shelf or even on the floor. For example, a vertical painting standing on the floor visually makes a small space larger.

✅Not all paintings need to be framed. Some paintings are self-sufficient without a baguette.

✅You can choose a painting so that it repeats all the main shades of the interior (see tip №3). Then the picture and the room will become one. But you can consciously do the opposite! Make the painting a bright accent of the interior. Then the main color of the painting should be contrasting, eye-catching and eye-catching. But in this case, so that the painting does not look like an alien object, its shade needs to be supported by additional details. Designers advise to repeat each color in the interior at least 3 times. For example, the main colors of the painting can be repeated in other details: pillows on the sofa, in the color of the chair, in vases, etc.
