Why do you need a finishing coat for three-dimensional paintings made of texture paste?

Paintings made of Evgenia Ermilova™ texture paste are very durable after the material has completely dried, while observing the rules of technique when creating it. Three-dimensional paste elements do not break when falling from a height, from touching with hands and being sent to another city.

But even very durable paintings need protection from external influences: moisture, dust and ultraviolet light. After all, water, dust and the sun can change even rocks with prolonged exposure!

We recommend applying a finishing coat to finished, completely dried paintings made of Evgenia Ermilova™ texture paste. The colorless matte varnish Evgenia Ermilova™ is ideal as a finishing coating. 1-2 layers are enough. It does not create an unpleasant sticky sheen that appears from glossy varnishes. Evgenia Ermilova™️ varnish becomes completely invisible after drying, fills the pores of the paste elements and creates a transparent film. This protects against moisture, dust and ultraviolet light.

How to work with varnish correctly?

⚠️First remove the dust from the painting surface.
You can wipe it off with a dry brush, vacuum it, or blow it out with a hairdryer in cold blowing mode.

⚠️The varnish must be thoroughly mixed not only before starting work, but also during the process!
Don't forget about it! This is extremely important.

⚠️Use a construction bristle brush, and rub the varnish very well so that there are no streaks and layers of material.
It is undesirable to use brushes with synthetic or natural lint. Such brushes can deteriorate after the first use or leave lint on the painting.
